The most popular choice for first-time visitors and short holidays in Dubai. With the express option it can be finalised in one business day for last-minute travel.
The 30-Day Single Entry visa is a tourist e-visa for travellers planning a one-off trip to Dubai. It is the most popular option for week-long breaks, shopping trips, exhibition visits and first-time visitors to the Gulf.
The visa must be used within a set period from the date it is issued — you need to enter the UAE within that window. Your 30-day stay then starts counting from your entry date, so applying early does not eat into your stay.
"Single entry" means the visa is considered used the moment you leave the country. If you plan to use Dubai as a base and cross into Oman, Qatar or Bahrain, this visa is not suitable — you cannot re-enter on the same visa once you have exited.
This is the only visa type we offer with an express processing option. If your flight is only days away, express brings the result down to roughly one business day. Standard applications take about three business days.

Travellers making a single tourist trip to Dubai, staying up to 30 days, who will not return during the same trip after leaving the country. Suitable for holidays, shopping, exhibitions and short business meetings.
Not suitable if you plan to cross into neighbouring countries such as Oman, Qatar or Bahrain and return to Dubai during the same trip — the visa ends when you exit. For that you need the 30-Day Multiple Entry visa. If you are staying longer than 30 days, see the 60-Day Single Entry visa. A tourist visa cannot be used for work, study or residency purposes.
30-day single-entry visa: you must enter the UAE within 58 days of the visa being issued. From your entry date you may stay up to 30 days, single entry only. Extensions are not permitted; overstaying incurs a USD 3,000 fine plus USD 150 per day. The visa is valid in all emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain).

Express applications are submitted to the official system on a priority basis and are usually finalised within one business day. This depends on the workload of the UAE immigration authority and is not a guaranteed timeframe. Weekends and UAE public holidays are not included.
No. Your 30-day stay starts from the day you enter the UAE. Applying early only affects the window in which you must enter, not the length of your stay.
Yes. The visa is valid in all emirates; travelling to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman or elsewhere is not treated as leaving the country. The visa is only consumed when you exit the UAE.
