A smooth approval of your Dubai (United Arab Emirates) tourist visa depends on your documents being complete, clear and compliant with the standards. All of the documents below are mandatory and you will upload them during the online application.

Required Documents — For Every Application
All of the documents below are mandatory and identical across every visa type. Only your ID document depends on nationality: Turkish citizens upload their Turkish ID card, foreign nationals their Turkish Residence / Work Permit card.
Passport — Cover Page
A photo of your passport opened flat like a book, showing the front and back covers together. The whole passport must fit in frame, with no glare.
ID Card (Front + Back)
Turkish citizens: both sides of your Turkish ID card. Foreign nationals: both sides of your Turkish Residence or Work Permit card.
Biometric Photo
A passport-style photo taken within the last 6 months, with a white background and your face clearly visible. No glasses, hats or filters.
Flight Ticket
If your outbound and return flights are on one document, upload just that; if bought separately, upload both. A ticket is required — not a reservation.
Hotel Booking
It must clearly show the hotel name, address, check-in/check-out dates and your full name. The dates must match your flight ticket dates.
Travel Health Insurance
Mandatory for entry into the UAE and must cover your entire travel period. We can arrange a policy for you during the application, or you can upload your existing one.
On rare occasions the official authorities may request an additional document while assessing your application. If that happens we will contact you and walk you through exactly what to send — there is nothing you need to prepare in advance.

Differences by Nationality
The document list is the same for all nationalities; only the ID document differs. Turkish citizens upload both sides of their Turkish ID card, while foreign nationals upload both sides of their Turkish Residence or Work Permit card. When you select your nationality in the online application, the correct list is shown automatically.
Documents for Children
- Children need the same documents — there is no separate list.
- The child needs their own passport, their own ID card and their own biometric photo.
- A separate application is made for each traveller; a child is not added to a parent’s application.
Common Mistakes
The most common reasons applications are rejected — check before you apply.
- Passport valid for less than 7 months from the departure date
- Blurry, dark, cropped or incomplete document scans
- Old or non-standard photo (glasses, hat, filter, coloured background)

How long must my passport be valid for a Dubai visa?
Your passport must be valid for at least 7 months from your departure date and contain at least two blank pages. This is checked automatically during the application.
Is a biometric photo mandatory and how should it look?
Yes. You need a passport-style photo taken within the last 6 months, with a white background and your face clearly visible. Glasses, hats, heavy filters and coloured backgrounds are not accepted.
Is travel health insurance required for Dubai?
Yes. A valid travel health insurance is mandatory for entry into the United Arab Emirates and the policy must cover your entire travel period. We can also arrange a suitable policy for you during the application.
In what format and how do I upload documents?
You can securely upload your documents in PDF, JPG or PNG format, in colour and clearly, through the online application screen.
Are a flight ticket and hotel booking mandatory?
Yes, both are mandatory and must be uploaded with your application. For flights a ticket is required, not a reservation: if your outbound and return are on one document, upload that; if bought separately, upload both. Do I also need an ID card?
