Frequently Asked Questions
The most common questions about the Dubai visa.
General
Do Turkish citizens need a visa for Dubai (UAE)?
Yes. Holders of ordinary (burgundy) Turkish passports must obtain a tourist visa before entering the United Arab Emirates; the free visa-on-arrival does not apply to ordinary passports. Only diplomatic and service/special passport holders are exempt for up to 90 days. For other nationalities the rule depends on the country — we can help you choose the right visa type.
Is applying for a Dubai visa through you reliable?
Yes. We are a TÜRSAB-licensed (Licence No 6169), tax-registered authorised travel agency — not an official government body or consulate, but an authorised intermediary that handles your application on your behalf. Payments are taken securely via 3D Secure, prices are single and transparent (no hidden fees), and you can track your application online at every stage.
Is my passport and personal data safe?
Yes. All your information is processed encrypted under data-protection law (KVKK), used only for your visa application and never shared with third parties for marketing. After your application is finalised you can request deletion of your data; upon request, records outside the legal retention period are permanently erased.
How long does a Dubai visa take?
Standard tourist visas are usually issued within 2–5 working days. Processing may take longer during peak periods or if additional checks are required. For urgent travel, express processing may be available; we inform you of the current timeline when you apply.
Can I work or study on a tourist visa?
No. A tourist visa is only for tourism/visiting; it cannot be used for work or long-term study. Those purposes require a work or student/residence permit.
Application & Process
How do I apply for the visa?
The whole process is online: you choose your visa type, enter the applicant details, upload the required documents and pay securely. We submit your application to the official system and deliver the result to you. You can complete every step on our site in a few minutes.
How do I track my application?
When you create an application you receive a tracking number. On our "Track Application" page you can check your status anytime with this number, and we notify you by email/SMS as soon as your visa is ready.
Can I apply for several people at once?
Yes. You can add multiple applicants for a family or group. Documents such as passport and photo are required separately for each applicant; everyone, including children, gets their own visa.
How do I receive my approved visa?
When your visa is approved it is delivered electronically (PDF); we send it by email and make it downloadable from your tracking panel. Carrying a digital or printed copy with you when travelling is sufficient.
Can errors in my details be corrected?
We can correct typos/data errors before the application is submitted to the official system; that's why it's important to enter your name, passport number and dates exactly as in your passport. An error on an already issued visa may require a new application.
Documents
Which documents are required?
Essentially a colour scan of your passport's main page and a compliant passport photo are required. Depending on the visa type, additional documents such as travel/hotel details may be requested. The required documents for each visa type are listed individually on the application screen.
How long must my passport be valid?
Your passport must be valid for at least 7 months from your departure date. If validity is below 7 months the application may be rejected; you should renew your passport before travelling.
What are the photo requirements?
A recent passport photo with a white background, close-up and a clearly visible face is required (typically 3.5×4.5 cm, ICAO standard). No glare on glasses, no hats or filters. Non-compliant photos can delay processing.
Do children need their own visa?
Yes. Every traveller, including infants, must have their own visa. The child's passport and photo are required; you can create the application together with the parent in the same order.
Duration & Validity
What visa durations are available?
UAE tourist visas are generally offered as 30-day and 60-day options, single or multiple entry. You can compare which one suits you on our visa types page.
When does the visa period start?
The visa has an "entry validity" period (usually 60 days from issue) within which you must enter the country. Your stay period (30/60 days) starts counting from the day you actually enter the UAE.
What is the difference between single and multiple entry?
A single-entry visa becomes invalid once you leave the country; it suits one-off trips. A multiple-entry visa allows several entries and exits during its validity; it is advantageous for frequent travellers.
Entry & Overstay
Can I extend my visa?
Many tourist visas can be extended online without leaving the country (usually two 30-day extensions); extension is subject to an official fee. If you plan to extend, contact us before your stay expires.
What happens if I overstay?
If you overstay your permitted period, a daily fine applies (as of 2026, roughly USD 150 per day across all emirates, from the first day and generally with no grace period). To avoid accumulating fines, leave before your stay expires or extend your visa.
Do I need a hotel booking or return ticket on entry?
While not always mandatory for visa approval, officers may ask for a return/onward ticket and accommodation details on arrival. We recommend having these ready for a smooth entry.
Insurance
Is travel health insurance mandatory?
Yes. For the UAE tourist visa process, valid travel health insurance covering the UAE is now a requirement integrated into the official systems. The policy must cover medical expenses in the UAE; for multiple-entry visas valid coverage is required for each visit. We can add a suitable policy during your application if you wish.
Can I use my own insurance?
If you already have a travel health policy that covers the UAE with valid coverage, you may use it and upload it with your application. If you don't have one or it isn't suitable, we can provide a policy that meets the requirement.
Fees & Payment
How much does the visa cost?
The fee depends on the visa type you choose (duration, number of entries) and any services you add (e.g. insurance). You can see current prices transparently, with no hidden surprises, on our visa types and fees pages.
How do I pay, and is it secure?
Payments are taken by credit/debit card through a secure payment infrastructure and your card details are processed encrypted. Once payment is complete, confirmation and your application tracking details are sent to you.
Rejection & Refund
Why is a Dubai visa rejected? What are the most common reasons?
The most common reasons are: a name or passport number that does not exactly match the passport, a passport valid for less than 7 months from the departure date, a non-standard or old biometric photo, missing or illegible documents, and a previous overstay in the UAE. Our expert team reviews your documents one by one before submitting to the official system, minimising these risks.
What if my visa is rejected — can I get a refund?
The visa decision is made by the official authorities and, although rare, applications can be rejected. In that case we share the reason and, where possible, guide you for re-application. Refund terms depend on whether the official fee has been paid and the stage of service; we share the details with you before you apply.
